contrary to popular beliefs, i have not disappeared from the face of the earth. bleh. i haven't been updating my blog and neither have i been spotted online but that doesn't mean i have disappeared - maybe only from the virtual world. hah.

i hardly have any free time ever since i started at standard chartered... and after spending so many hours at work in front of the computer, the last thing i want to do when i get home is to turn on my laptop and start typing away again!! and besides, it's getting too exhausting to write in Singapore. almost every other topic is toeing the thin line. if you don't like a certain colour, you could be sued for making racist remarks. if you say something which may seem unfavourable to certain political parties, you find yourself in court...

oh well. where is the freedom of speech? probably bitten by the millenium bug and left behind in the 20th century. after a long day's work, where will i find the energy to decide what is politically correct and what is not? all i want to do is just write what is on my mind. after all, that's what my blog is for. it's my space to rant about anything under the sun. if i have to think about what i can/cannot write, then what's the whole point right? maybe one day i'll just write about the sun, the birds, the bees and the clear blue sky. surely there cannot be anything wrong about that. but then again, you never know! not when you're in good 'ole "fine" singapore. *grin*
