champagnes, martinis, nel and me

Gosh, I was so impossibly penniless yesterday! It's not even funny! It's pathetic... the way me and nel were doing math the whole night! We were both so cashless. I even had to cash in 5 bucks so that I could draw out 30 bucks. and that pratically cleaned out my card. Available balance:$0. Told ya it wasn't funny!

Guess what us, the 2 most brilliant gals, did with the 30 bucks? We walked straight down to Tango's (at Holland V) and did a mental calculation of the drinks we could have. Haha with about 30 bucks, you would think not much. We started off with the intention of having only a drink each, bearing in mind that we were, erm, broke. Very very broke. So we ordered 1 strawberry magarita each. $7 X 2 + 15% extra charge = $16.10. So far so good. Champagne looked good. So did the lychee martini. Didn't help that we were sitting near the bar and we could see the drinks that were being prepared!... Went to draw out another $30 so that we could quench our thirst for champagne and martini. Hahaha after our 2nd drinks, we were hooked. 1 more lychee martini, 3 more champagnes and 1 cosmo found its way to our table. Hahaha. Wanna make a guess at our total bill? $114.81. *sheepish grin* And it was only 9:30pm when we left.
